Rare and Valuable Collector Books

Rare Books

In our ongoing effort to raise funds to complete the Chen Kung Taijiquan Series and other projects, Stuart Alve Olson is now making available a large number of rare books on Taijiquan, Qigong, Shaolin Kungfu, Chin Na, and weapons from his incredible library.

Most of these books were originally given to Stuart by Master Liang during his tutelage with him. If you want to own a piece of history, please consider entering a bid for any of these works. Email us at contact@valleyspiritarts.com.

Valley Spirit Arts Chinese Bookstore

Check out our new Chinese Bookstore, which will comprise many other works from Stuart’s library. These hard-to-find and out-of-print books cost between $20 and $50. The proceeds from the sale of these works will go to fund new projects for the Sanctuary of Tao.

Reproductions

Valley Spirit Arts will soon be releasing new reproductions of many out-of-print and public domain Chinese works. Many of these books and teachers have been long forgotten in history, but they were crucial to the formation of Chinese philosophy, martial art, and qigong practices. Although we hope to provide translations of these works in English, in the meantime we are making these reproduction copies available so as to ensure that these works are preserved for posterity.
